Job Promotion

Yesterday I was offered the position as Account Representative in the Group Reservations Department. This will be my second promotion since I have been here since January.

The position is a permanent, full-time job. (A rarity in the park) I will qualify for benefits almost immediately, my 2 weeks of vacation days will start in a year though. I am excited to be working in a new office within the reservations department.

Schwann's Day

It was Schwann's day today!

Schwann Day always brings back many memories of my Grandma. I remember when I was little how exciting the Schwann Man Day was; looking through the catalog and picking out things we just hoped she would order. Then how exciting it was when she actually ordered the mini pizzas or the sausage breakfast sandwiches. And then there was the ice cream, the ice cream was everyone's favorite and Grandma always had it well stocked with all varieties.

Since moving into my own place I have become a Schwann Customer ordering a few favorites and deiscovering some new favorites as well. The unbreaded chicken breasts are at the top of my list. Not only do they come already trimmed of fat and ready to go, but they are eached individually wrapped as well. Perfect for making single servings. My most recent discovery is their Marinated Salmon. Yum! Yum!

First Signs of Spring

The last few days have been gorgeous and it appears that we are giving way to spring, although I am sure that we will still get a couple more snow storms. Wednesday it was even 56!

I went for a little drive this afternoon and saw my first Bluebird of the season!

My Apartment

Here is a picture of my apartment in Gardiner, MT. I have a great view out the front of the Gardiner River, Bunsen Peak, Sepulcher Mountain and Electric Peak.

The apartment is a 2 bedroom, with a large kitchen, and a washer and dryer.

I am really enjoying living in town, as opposed to inside the park, and especially enjoy getting to cook again.
